Prek Tmey Market

By Meng Neradey

When the Khmer Rouge conquered the Lon Nol regime, Phnom Penh residents were deported to provinces. After the collapse of the Khmer Rouge, some people did not manage to go back to their former houses, but Kouy Sivleng was willing to pay for the residence to get her home back. The Khmer Rouge ruined her family, and at the end, she came back alone as all her family members had died during the Khmer Rouge regime.
